Don't you have somewhere to go?

So I know it's clichè, but what with time being an arbitrary concept and all, New Year's provides just as good a time to reflect as anything. A good time to look back at the last year, see where I am, where I'm going, what's coming up.

Let's start with what happened recently. I worked New Year's Eve, which isn't a big deal. I usually do - last year, the year before that, the year before that, but the year before that, I think I was with Suzie in Galveston. I remember three New Year's ago, when I got off from Sonic, was driving home, Mom called me from All Niter, her and Jerry were there, we sat on the patio and had breakfast. Lilie drove by. Good times. So anyway.

I spent this New Year's making pizzas. Luckily, I wasn't taking an order or anything when the ball dropped (which is my way of saying "Midnight struck"). Just kind of standing there. I was very aware of when it was. Bill and Chris were my closing drivers, but they were both out on runs. They were pretty much running nonstop 'til the end of the night. I got a few calls around midnight - Danielle called, that was awesome. Hadn't really talked to her or anything in quite a while. Danielle and Jenni both called, that was fun. Had a few drunks order some pizza in person, that's always fun. I think part of my aversion to drinking is how very, very much I hate talking to drunk people. I hear it's not so bad when you're also drunk. Whatever.

I went to Wal-Mart after work, picked up some juice and stuff. Of course, Rebecca was my cashier. Good times. She was smiling a lot. I'm not naive enough to think she was smiling because of me, but it was definitely at, and I'll take my victories where I can get them.

[Sidenote: I'm watching "Blonde Ambition" while typing this. Atrocious movie. Jessica Simpson's character is a country bumpkin stuck in the big city. She doesn't know how to ride a bike. I'll let that sink in a for a moment. At least Rachael Leigh Cook is in it. She's awesome. Also, apparently, she did the voice of Tifa Lockhart in most of the Final Fantasy adaptations, post-VII. Good stuff.]

Anyway, it really helped dispel all the bad vibes I got from her on Christmas Eve with Jenni. Moving on. I had to give Rose a ride home the next night, she needed to go to Wal-Mart that night. We spent about fifteen minutes in the hair care aisle, she needed some conditioner without certain chemicals in it. Or something, I don't know. I keep my head shaved. Whatever. We had to go through sporting goods for a thermos or something. For whatever reason, I picked up a baseball bat. I started carrying that around for a while. It's a guy thing. Whatever.

So we took the corner towards electronics, and she's standing there right next to the Guitar Hero demo. Long story short, she's watching electronics during lunch, and the other girl, the one playing very badly in training mode, was on lunch. I felt kind of weird holding on to the bat, but I went with it. Rose kind of took off, went to finish her shopping. The girl playing finished the song, realized the game probably wasn't for her. Rebecca and I talked a little while the other girl (she needs a name if I'm going to bring her up very many more times in this story; 'other girl' and 'that girl' is starting to get a little repetitive). She said something about her brother who 'has like, every video game system ever' and apparently doesn't like girls that much because they talk to much and prevent him from playing his games. Good times. She thinks he might be gay. Or something. She didn't want to play, because her eyes don't focus fast enough. She said something about the doctor telling her she needs to exercise her eyes more, and she's annoyed, because the last thing she wants is another doctor telling her she needs to exercise more. Or something.

[How the F did they get Rachael Leigh Cook for this piece of crap? It's awesomely tragic. Oh, crap, Willie Nelson. He must really like Jessica Simpson, or something.]

So she - that other girl - finishes, and asks Rebecca if she wants to play, so she turns to me and asks me if I want to. I hesitantly accepted. I went with 'Hit Me With Your Best Shot', because I know the song really well. I did 98%-ish. It was great, because my hands were sweaty. I'm a big, big guy, and I like to think I do some physically demanding things - I play racquetball, I play DDR. I sweat a lot during those times, but my hands stay dry. They don't sweat at all. Ever.

But they were sweating the whole time I played the song. I guess that means I was really, really nervous. Which I was. Which means I actually like her.

Crazy.

Moving on.

So I finished the song, put down the guitar, said something to the effect of "That's not really fair, 'cause I play this all the time.", picked up the baseball bat I set down by the demo unit, and walked off. I had no idea what was going on. I found Rose, and we went about our shopping. She asked me where the latex gloves were, so I went and asked Rebecca. We talked a bit.

Oh, I was still holding the baseball bat. It wouldn't be right without it.

We talked a little bit; she told me a story about her boyfriend. I'm still debating the point of the story. It could go any number of ways - maybe she was just making small talk (it was a funny story, after all), or just sharing about her New Year's Eve / life stuff, or, quite possibly,

[Major plot hole. This is what I don't get. If they want Jessica Simpson's character to be that idiot's secretary so they can manipulate her, why are they constantly sabotaging her plans? Wouldn't they want to help her and have her do well, so she would gain his trust and thus be a more valuable asset in their plan? I guess that's what I get for trying to actually follow the plot of a movie that makes fun of Norwegians for no real reason. It's not so much making fun of them, as it is randomly having them do karaoke - 'Baby Got Back', no less - in the most horrendous accents I've ever heard.]

[Oh gosh. Here comes the montage where the small-town girl grows accustomed to her big-city job, but turns her back on her small-town roots. I'm already looking forward to the moment of truth where she decides, momentously, to re-embrace her values.]

or, quite possibly, as a way to remind me that she has a boyfriend. (Of course, best-case is that she was reminding herself, because she was afraid she was forgetting. Probably not, but it's fun to dream.)

Moving on.

We got the gloves, we went home.

So yeah, that was fun.

Now, about reminiscing and stuff.

Let's start with work.

I started the New Year working at Wal-Mart. Literally - as usual, I was working that night. Worked there until early April, when Javi called me and asked me if I wanted to come back to Sonic. Ashley Hopkins lent a lot of credence to that argument, and I walked out. That was fun. What was really, really fun about that was that Ambra had started working there by that point, she was also working that night. Lots of freight, understaffed, all the greatest hits we know and love from working at Wal-Mart.

I started at Sonic a week later. It was, well, interesting. Ashley ended up quitting, so did Javi. I ended up working around seventy hours a week. I didn't mind the hours - one week, I had about ninety hours, that was a nice paycheck. Overall, it was a good turning point - allowed me to build a decent reserve really fast (I moved back home around the same time, worked out well). The problem I had at Sonic? Well, it was two-fold. First, as it often the case with crappy service jobs, everyone there hated working it. Now, the thing about these jobs is that the co-workers often make it bearable. That wasn't the case - they had really, really bad attitudes. I can name a few off the top of my head, but it's really not worth it. The second issue was Bubba. He was cool at first, until I got to know him. Not hiring people, not taking an active hand in his store, underordering, argh. I got sick of it.

Luckily, Sergio called from Domino's and asked me if I wanted to come be an assistant for him, as he had just gotten the store. I thought about it, but I was afraid. I hate big decisions; I seem to always mess them up. Of course, I felt pretty good about that one. I put in my two weeks at Sonic, walked out a week later. I've been working at Domino's ever since. Of course, my work history now goes Sonic - Domino's - Wal-Mart - Sonic - Domino's. Good stuff. There was a two day stint at CRI, which isn't really even worth mentioning (well, except for that).

So, yeah. Been working 40-50 (more like 45, not so much 50 anymore) hours a week there, 5-C five times a week.

There's work.

Living Situation.

Not much to talk about here. I was living at Les Chateaux, but I moved home. It does make me feel kind of a loser and all, being twenty-five, working at Domino's, being completely single, morbidly obese, good times. Of course, I'm working on all of those things. I'm twenty-five and don't have a degree, but I am back in school. I'm funding that with Domino's, and I'm working on my weight. Good stuff. Oh, and I pay rent.

[Holy crap, this movie sucks.]

Social:

HAHAHAHAHAHA. Not much to say here. Thankfully, Lilie is no longer a part of my life in any way. Passed her on Thanksgiving, didn't answer when she called. I still think about her occasionally, during depression spirals,

[This scene is actually humorous.]

but that's not really specific to her - that's more about her being the last person I was that close to, and her being such a major part of my life for so long. Comparatively speaking, of course.

So yeah, single and probably going to stay that way for a while. No real prospects or anything. I mean, I kind of have a thing for Rebecca,

[Extreme Sports Bonanza? I miss Rachael Leigh Cook pretending to be part of the marina group.]

Moving on.

but I'm not going to delude myself into thinking that anything's going to happen there.

[Now the running to find his true love and prevent a misunderstanding from becoming a tragedy. Gyp and Buddy could have written a more imaginative, if more cheese-oriented, screenplay.]

So what's in store for this year? School. Work. Getting in shape. Taking control of my life, maybe growing up a little (not too much, don't worry).

So, resolutions? Not sure. I'm cutting dairy almost entirely out of my diet, but that's not a resolution so much as it is a 'I don't want to feel like crap, I'm lactose intolerant' kind of thing. I'm going to be back in school, but that's too much of a thing that's like, interwoven into your life to be a New Year's Resolution. The same goes for health things. I'll get back to you on that one.

Right before my eyes

So, it's been a while since I've had a substantial update, especially now that I've moved my blog and no one knows its new location - I told Lilie I deleted it. As I've previously stated, work's not nearly as interesting, so there's another thing to not blog about. That, and the spare time gives me a lot of opportunities to work out issues I usually just purge by placing them here.

That being said...

First topic: New Year's.

Yeah, almost a month and a half late on this one. Whatever. Nothing special about this New Year's - spent it working, as usual. Of course, with my new hours, I was in at 10 pm, and didn't leave until early morning - 7ish? I don't recall anything being noteworthy about the shift in and of itself. I think the worst New Year's in recent memory was the year I was working at Sonic and hadn't had any sleep for like the two day before New Year's, so I told Mom I was going to sleep, and NOT to wake me up. Of course, she did. I remember being in tears, I just wanted to sleep so bad. So yeah.

Burning Crusade recently launched (another reason I haven't been updating very often). Frankly, I love it. Outlands is AWESOME, and the first batch of quests make sure your gear is sufficient to handle the new challenges being thrown at you. You get new ranks of abilities every level, instead of only on even levels, and most classes get new abilities every even level - those that don't received a new ability at a lower level. Warriors, for example, don't get a new ability at 66, because they receive a passive ability much earlier now that allows them to retain 10 rage while switching stances (Stance Mastery is now a 3 point 1st tier Prot talent that lets you retain 5/10/15 rage, giving you the same benefit with 3 talent points). I've got Femaledwarf to 66, Gnometastic to 62, and rolled a draenei shaman, Serialcrushr, that's 12, and a draenei huntress that's 10 - Simplecomplx (in both cases, I have to omit the final 'e' for space). Actually had like five days off in a row immediately after the launch, which was awesome - was able to keep pace, and at times, get ahead of, everyone else.

The actual launch was kinda funny. It was at the beginning of the ice storm. We were releasing it at midnight, just like everyone else. I had been saying that there was going to be a big crowd, but nobody believed me - Matt was like "Yeah, Billy thinks the entire world is going to be here." I was right. Kinda. They were originally just going to roll the pdq out and let us have at it, but the size of the crowd and the decision to go 1 per customer led to them setting up a register - manned by Manuel, no less - to sell them. I got to leave for break a few minutes early, got over there to get in line. I was... something like fortieth in line. It was kind of scary. I knew they had 55 copies, but there was a huge clump, so it was hard to get an accurate count. Conner walked by a few times and yelled "NERD!". I thought it was pretty funny, given that he HAS THE AUTOBOT LOGO TATOOED ON HIS NECK. That, and he's desperate for a Wii. At one point, I was just downstacking a palette, and he was all "So what? You got your game now, and now you're all happy?" I was like, "Um... yeah?" Later, it was "So, what's the first thing you're going to do when you get home?" "Um, install BC?" "Haha, yeah, that's what I thought. Nerd!" As though I had waited in line for it, then wasn't going to install it? I countered by asking him what he was going to do when he got home with the Wii - get it working? "No, because I have to get an RCA converter first." Nice evasion.

More later.

Cover me in ecstasy

Guess I'm in a posting mood today. I have an hour, maybe two, before I have to spring into action and start getting some errands taken care of - deposit my paycheck, drop off rent, purchase a bird bath for Bam and Greg, go do some clothes shopping at the Outlet Mall, courtesy of the gift card Mom got me, and I think that's all? Oh! I also have to drop by Mom's, grab my cell phone and get some food out of the fridge that expires today. My phone's been missing for a few days now, it was in Janelle's car. Turns out it fell out as I was getting in. Or out. Whatever. It's funny, 'cause there's going to be about five missed calls from the apartment, a few from the house, a few from Rose, and probably a bunch from Mom.

The thing that complicates all of this, and prevented me from doing any of it yesterday is that my truck's in the shop again, for the same old issue. It's starting to get really, really annoying. I don't know how this guy managed to get Bill Mann to give him the SMAC contract, but he really, really doesn't deserve it. I definitely won't be going to him for any of my mechanical needs, once this thing is done, which are coming up - I need a new fanbelt, probably could use an oil change... good stuff.

So yeah. The thing that complicates this... wait, did that. The other thing that complicates this is that I have to pick Mom up at 2:30 to take her from one of her jobs to the other. I think she might be dropping me of at the apartment instead? Something like that. Either way, I'll be leaving at noon, or when Femaledwarf hits 52 (41k xp to go!), but not whichever comes first. I'm not sure.

So, New Year's is coming up. To be frank, Christmas wasn't that great this year. I've already done my disclaimer on bitching about it, and I'd like to just reference it and say it holds here as well. Hell, let's just have it as my standard disclaimer to every post I've ever made in which I bitched about things are, in the grand scheme of things, relatively minor (Note: everything I've ever really bitched about). I don't think New Year's is going to be any better. Well, it won't be worse, but it won't be good at all, because it's going to be a normal work day. We go on break at midnight, which means I'll probably have to deal with a bunch of co-workers being all "Happy New Year's!" I hate that. Well, I don't hate that. I hate random people wishing me a happy New Year's. I guess it's just one of those little idiosyncratic things about me, like how I hate salespeople coming up to me and asking me if I need any assistance in a store. It's polite, it's a nice way of showing compassion for your fellow human beings, and it drives me nuts. Now, I love being wished a happy New Year's by important people.

But I'm going to reminisce about past Christmas/New Year's, and why they sucked. I mean, I don't automatically assume it's going to suck, but I don't shy away from the reality of the situation.

jakalope -- Feel It

Find your calm, in the eye of the storm

So I dropped Cullen off at his house, and started to head home, my spirits having been lifted by a night of DDR with a great friend.

That lasted about two minutes. I returned to my previously depressed state of being fairly quickly driving down Hilliard. I don't know why... it probably didn't help that 1000 Words came on, which is a song that now has significant meaning to me - and if anyone laughs at that, I swear I'll smack you.

Anyway.

I still haven't pinned down the original cause of my depression, but separating from Lilie definitely didn't help. So I came home and played some, but had to open. I crashed for about an hour, then went off to work. Nothing really of note there. Well, except we got in a Coke order and a truck, I had to put up both of them, and had to cut a crapload of onions since no one else had been cutting them. Adam came in as the secondary manager, followed by Dave. It was really slow for lunch, but things got really, really busy about 2 or so. I had to stay until almost 4, which sucked. I got home and fell asleep.

I volunteered to go in that evening about an hour before close and help do the money and stuff so that Javi could do the changeover without having to worry about that, and he wouldn't have to be there forever. The problem is that we were supposed to close at 11, but we ended up closing at 10. I had hoped we'd be closing at 11, so I'd still be there doing the deposit at midnight. Even that plan was ruined, since we were slow enough that Dave told us to close an hour early. Got out of there about 11:20 or so, came home. Mom was at Cheatham Street and Janelle was at a party, so I was just hanging here at the big hour. I think I was talking to Heather online at midnight, nothing special. Mom called about 1 and told me that her and Jerry were at All-Niter Diner and would love to have me join them, so I did. We had a nice meal. One note - I was parked right in front, on like the second parking spot on that street. As I was climbing back into my truck and getting situated, I saw a small red car come flying around that corner. Habitually, I looked at it - sure enough, it had a Domino's thing on the top, a hood that wouldn't close... yep, it was her.

And here I thought I wasn't going to see anyone special on New Year's.

Went home and crashed. Worked 5 - close that night. Shelley was back from wherever the hel she was (South Padre) and was fountaining that night with Allison. I was supposed to have Pedro, Rick, and Freddie cooking, but Freddie was really sick and called in. Pedro was supposed to be off at 9, but he stayed and closed. Rick didn't come in 'til 8, so I spent most of my time in the kitchen. Shelley annoyed the fucking hell out of me. She is very defensive about being criticized - I told her I had to review some items on her Star Guides (don't ask), and she made some comment a little later about "Hold on, I have to finish listening to Billy tell me what a complete idiot I am" or something like that. We didn't get along very well. Then she shows up on 31, and Shelley went out and talked to her for a bit. She returned a little bit later with some food for Shelley. Nothing really else of note happened that night. Well, except when she showed up to give Shelley a ride home. She parked on 4. I was sitting in the manager chair, and it's unfortunate that whenever you look up from the computer, you're pretty much looking at 4. So I had the joy of looking up as I was counting and seeing her car head-on a few times. That was fun.

Sunday, worked 5 - C again, but I've pretty much covered that. Got Chelsea to fountain for me tonight, 'cause there was no way I was going to go in tonight. Had an interesting conversation with Jess, though:

just_jess_from_smt: Kristin came in tonight
just_jess_from_smt: shes back
mr_binky_the_jackalope: Montalvo?
mr_binky_the_jackalope: To work?
just_jess_from_smt: yep
just_jess_from_smt: just to say hi
just_jess_from_smt: chelseas turning 18 the 12th, theyre all excited
mr_binky_the_jackalope: Exciting
just_jess_from_smt: she wanted to see you
mr_binky_the_jackalope: Kristin?
just_jess_from_smt: hadnt heard about Lilie
mr_binky_the_jackalope: Did you tell her?
just_jess_from_smt: yeah
just_jess_from_smt: no
just_jess_from_smt: chelsea did
mr_binky_the_jackalope: I didn't know Chelsea pays attention to my social life
just_jess_from_smt: maybe it was Lacey
mr_binky_the_jackalope: Either way, what'd she say?
just_jess_from_smt: she was very happy
mr_binky_the_jackalope: What?
just_jess_from_smt: she was happy
mr_binky_the_jackalope: Kristen was?
just_jess_from_smt: yes
mr_binky_the_jackalope: When Lacey and/or Chelsea told her that Lilie and I aren't together anymore?
mr_binky_the_jackalope: Or to be back?
just_jess_from_smt: yep
just_jess_from_smt: you
mr_binky_the_jackalope: ...
mr_binky_the_jackalope: odd

Form your own opinion. Went to dinner with Mom and Janelle at Katy Station, since she won a gift certificate there a while back in a band auction or somesuch. After that, Janelle and I went to Best Buy (got Final Fantasy Anthologies, Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers, Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King (both full extended editions)), and Blockbuster. Apparently, Blockbuster doesn't charge late fees anymore. The catch, however, is that if you don't return it by the 7th day it's due back, the full retail price is automatically charged to your account, and congratulations, you've bought yourself whatever it is you've kept. So anyway...

I miss her. We haven't talked since we broke up. I haven't called her, for a couple reasons. She said she wanted space, to be left alone, etc., so I'm respecting that. Also, and both her and Shelley have experienced this, I'm really awkward on the phone and don't know what to say. I usually only call people if I have a specific reason for calling, else, I just don't know what to say and tend to get really quiet. There are a few exceptions to this - Rose and I can talk for hours, but that's 'cause she talks a lot - but for the most part, I tend to avoid the phone. Mom and I had an argument last night, so I got some flowers on the way home from work - a big vase of yellow roses, Mom's favorite flower (lucky choice on my part). She came out this morning, saw them, and though that I had bought them for Lilie. Which isn't a bad idea, except for the reasons noted above. That's really why I haven't tried to call her, or leave some flowers by her door, or ask Shelley about her, or anything like that. She wants her space, and I'm fine with that. She knows my number if she ever feels like talking again.

It's finally started to sink in that we're apart. On the way in from DDR, walking across the neighbor's lawn, I kind of whispered "I miss you", and started crying. That was fun. At this point, I just feel lost. I don't know what's going on - I was depressed before we broke up, but this doesn't help at all.

2003-01-16

Heh, been a while since I've written anything here. Like, a month and 23 days, to make an exact approximation. I thought no one was reading it (which I thought from the get go, so don't ask why that's an issue), but I had some interesting conversations today, and one of them included the tidbit that Lilana apparently reads this. How odd... so I guess the blog di Jackalope returns. For now, at least.

Lemme think, what's transpired since the last time I got around to doing this? Well, the semester ended. I did okay, I s'pose. I got the B I knew I would in Italian, and the A I hoped for in m343k. Two anolomies - got an F in CS315, which I should have had an easy, high A in. But I screwed up jar-ring two of my projects, which totally screwed me over. Also failed gov310l, which is just embarrasing. To pull that off, I never went to discussion, which I later found out contained quizzes accounting for 30% of my grade. Oh well... brought my GPA down to a 3.3-something, which, while much lower, isn't that bad, and it'll come back up this semester. I'm taking cs315 again, and have like the first three projects already done, because Downing is a $#@#%!#!@#@. I really don't like him. I'm also re-taking gov310l, and this time, the grade consists of 3 tests, each 30 multiple choice questions, and 10% attendance/participation. So those are two easy A's. I'm also taking m362k, Probability I. I'm pretty sure I'll do really well in that class as well - I got a 5 on my Stat & Prob AP test, and do understand the subject matter fairly well. Hmm... also taking Italian 312k. Non mi piace. Luckily, though, it's the last semester of italian I have to take. I missed class yesterday, which makes me feel bad, but not that bad. Finally (yeah, 16 hours, a new record for me. Man, I love flat-rate tuition) m427k - Advanced Calculus for Applications I. So far, it seems... ridiculous. The instructor's pretty hard to understand, and the things he's doing on the board, well, I understand what he's doing, but not why. I'm gonna start going through the book this weekend, and I hope that'll help. My predictions for this semester? B in italian, and A's in everything else; well, maybe a B in 427k, but doubtful. If I somehow took 10 hours over the summer, I'd be a senior at the start of the fall semester, but that's not gonna happen.

The Knighthood has some new plans on the horizion. My favorites:

  • Running for Student Government. This one just appeals to me on many different levels. And it sounds hilarious.
  • Gingerbread Jews. Not that I have anything against Jewish people, but this one is just so hilarious. And it represents a good chance to get another warning, or even actual disciplinary action.
  • Paddle Bob. The possibility, and probability, for that matter, for mis-interpretation are just so high that it can't fail.
  • Pog Championship. An excuse to go overboard and over-the-top. Can't wait.

Winter Break was pretty good. Got a new computer for Christmas. 2 GHz processor, other fun things. It took a while, but I networked it with my mom's, and now we're utilizing the cable connection, which is pretty nice. Right now, I'm dl'ing Robin Hood: Men in Tights, which is a funny, funny movie. New Year's Day, though, was horrendous. Here's a day-by-day recap as to why.
Monday: I had to work 5 - C (11:15 or so). After getting home, I knew I had to work at noon Tuesday, and do some chores beforehand, so I figured I'd go to sleep around 1~2. That gave me a solid eight hours of sleep before I needed to wake up around ten or so. That didn't work - I couldn't fall asleep until, well, sometime between 6~8. I still woke up at 10, though, so I got something like three hours of sleep. I quickly cleaned my room, did the dishes, and vacuumed and mopped before going to work. Work, was, well, work (hell), but at least I was fountaining, which meant I wasn't burning myself in the kitchen. I worked 12 - 7, which isn't that bad, but 7 hours is the near the upper limit of non-double shifts worked. I got home, and I was TIRED. I felt sooooo bad, I just wanted to close my eyes and sleep for a week. I told my mom, quite explicitly, not to wake me up should I be asleep at the crossover. I was about one billion percent sure that I'd be asleep by then. About nine or ten, I could feel my eyes about to close, so I gladly embraced sleep. Apparently, though, no one told Jerry, my mom's boyfriend, about my predicament. He opened my door at 11:59, which instantly awoke me. I remember saying "Oh no" as I realized what he was about to do. He came in and threw confetti everywhere, saying "Happy New Years!". Not that loudly, though. I'm not really mad at him for it, though, 'cause he didn't know. But my mom, she has no excuse whatsoever. She came in with even more confetti, covered my room and bed in it, and YELLED quite loudly. Needless to say (but I'm going to anyway), I was now quite awake, and felt even worse than I had that day. It took at least ten minutes to just clear the confetti off my bed. Jarrod called not that long after to wish me a Happy New Years. Hearing the distress in my voice, he asked if I was okay, and I began to tell him what was going on. I broke out in tears halfway, I felt so bad. I tried to go back to sleep, but I couldn't fall back asleep until TEN O'CLOCK THAT MORNING, and woke up THREE HOURS LATER. I'd now only had ten hours of sleep in 72 hours. Man, I just wanted to die. Luckily, though, I did finally get some real sleep Wednesday night. But that just sucked so bad.
