Part 1

So we had an uneventful drive to Austin. Come to think of it, being in Austin was fairly uneventful as well. I didn't really play that much DDR - I intended to, but the lingering effects of the death flu made themselves known after I started trying to play. I mainly stuck to Crazy Taxi and Raiden Fighters. It was kinda weird, too - there were these two girls hanging out near the 5th Mix. They played a few times - on Light, but passing everything, but mainly, one of them sat on a stool and the other one stood right next to her. I'm still not sure as to their ages, but Cullen and I are guessing somewhere in the 14 - 18 range. I mean, it was like 11:00 in an arcade on Guadalupe. We're not sure if they were lesbians or just *really* close friends. They were hugging a great deal, and it sort of looked like one of them was comforting the other. But there were a few moments where their faces ended up a few inches apart, like they were about to kiss or something, and I swear I saw them do so out of the corner of my eye at one point. Cullen thinks he saw the two girls from last time kiss once as well, but he might have been mistaken. So that's all about DDR and lesbians.

Anyway.

Came home. My phone rang as I was taking Cullen home; it was Lilie. She said something weird along the lines of:

"I take it by the fact that you're answering your phone that you're awake?"
"Yeah."
"Are you in town?"
"Well, I'm giving Cullen a ride home, but otherwise, yeah."

Long story short, she wanted me to go buy her some cigarettes since her car was broken down and in the shop. I refused.

I'm pretty sure this is the first time (other than the time at Kenny's party when she tried to get me to drink, but that was somewhat jokingly and/or playful) she's encountered me being stubborn. I offered to come get her and take her where she needed to go, but she didn't seem to happy about that prospect. She told me to just come over after I took Cullen home, and we'd figure something out.
