Finally

I paid my tuition today. Well, part of it at least - about twelve hundred dollars. For whatever reason, my loan isn't going to come through until Sept. 2nd, so I had to put up the money until it does. Which sucks - I'm not going to be able to get books until I get that or another paycheck. Argh. Class start a week from yesterday, so that's fun. I still need to have a copy of my high school transcript sent to clear my foriegn language requirement, and get my student ID and parking permit.

Had yesterday off, which was nice. Got a lot of sleep and played some Chrono Trigger. I've gotten two endings so far - the main one, and 'Successor of Guardia'. I'm going to get all 12 as I work my way through the game. I plan to play through the game a total of five times, to get six Prism Helms, three Prism Dresses, three suits of Moon Armor, some PrismSpecs, and assorted goodies. I'd also like to see how many different stats i can get to ** level. I've got a few right now, mainly Magic Defense due to the Prism Helms and Chrono's speed.

But the main activity yesterday was lunch/movie with David and Barbara/Nicky. I was playing Star Wars with some hispanic chick named 'drflaca' when he called and told me we're meeting at Mamacita's. Went and had lunch with David and Barbara. It was okay - David and I both had fajitas, though he had beef and I had chicken. We made small talk, but things were fairly awkward. I think it's mainly my fault - I'm a socially awkward person to begin with. At one point, Barbara asked 'So what are the three of you doing later?' That was an odd question - at best, I counted two of us that weren't Barbara. I gathered David hadn't told me something yet, and asked him about such. He told me that he was hanging out with Nicky later and that the only way Barbara'd be okay with it is if I went. Fair enough. We ended up going to see AvP. It was good to see Nicky again - it'd probably been a year or more. She's gotten a little bigger. I think she said something about it being related to her having back operations or something. I actually prefer her this way, with one exception - the lack of a well-defined chin. But anyway.

AvP was pretty good. The Aliens and Predators all looked really cool, and what little fighting there was was pretty cool. That's my main complaint with the movie - too much walking around dark places, not enough rough and tumble fighting between the aliens and predators. The ending was... interesting. The sequel teaser was really annoying, as it was arbitrary and didn't make sense in the context of the movie.

I took Nicky home, and that was awkward as well. I still feel really bad for what I did to her (but that's another post at another time). We ended up just sitting in my truck at her complex, not really talking. It was... awkward as hell (assuming hell is awkward, of course). We eventually exchanged numbers and she left.

Played some DDR at Le Fun and saw David and Barbara there again. Still can't do Exotic Ethnic on S/H or Max 300 on D/H. Their 5^th and 8^th Mix machines are out of order. That bites. Crashed at Rose and Katie's afterwards. Katie forgot that I was coming over, and got a little freaked out when I came in and what-not. It was all resolved, though. I woke up to Rose coming in, and we talked a little. That was nice. Then we both went back to sleep. I love sleeping with Rose. I feel so comfortable, so warm, so loved. We talked a little more before I left, and I came home. I have to work tonight 6 - C and tomorrow 5 - C. I have Saturday off, which is cool.
