Blogger's being retarded

I'm having several issues with Blogger at the moment.

First, it's igoring my padding/margin settings. I hate having the text bump *right* up against the left side like that, so I'm trying to give it some room, but it's not. It might be IE, but I doubt it. I'm trying to track someone else down with another browser to confirm.

Secondly, it's ignoring my main page setting. I have it set to have posts from the last 7 days on my main page, but it has posts from August 1st. Argh.
