Well...

I talked to Dave a second ago. Not about the manager thing - neither of us brought it up. I don't know if, by missing the meeting, I communicated either a lack of interest and/or dependability and missed my only chance, or what.

But:

I did talk to him about Joel working my shift tomorrow; he resisted, but eventually, we came up with Joel'll work all day tomorrow, and I'll work all day Thursday, covering Joel's day shift (isn't he supposed to be a manager then, though? Or is Ray working as well?). Which is better than most of the alternatives, and I get to keep my 35+ hours this week. Nice.
