More later, but the short version: Katie called 'bout 7:30, left a message that she wanted to go skating tonight, and wondered if I'd like to go with her, but figured (correctly) that I was at work. I sent her a text message after I got off saying something like "Yeah, I was at work, but I would have loved to go. If you weren't going to visit your grandmother this weekend, I'd ask if you'd like to go then. I'm going with some friends Tuesday, if you're interested. If not, that's cool too. -Will" She just send me a message: (NOTE: THIS IS A DIRECT, UNEDITED QUOTE, AND THIS IS THE ENTIRITY OF THE MESSAGE; NOTHING HAS BEEN LEFT OUT:) "Alright".

She just sent another message, saying, and again, this is a direct, complete quote:

"Alright gotta go back 2sleep k".

Perhaps I was supposed to respond to the first one? I don't really understand what she was saying. Alright... I recieved your message? Alright... I'm acknowledging your existence? Alright... I'd love to go skating with you and your friends (Hmm... David and Rose? This is gonna be interesting, to be sure).

I sure hope I didn't wake her up or something. That's why I sent a message, as opposed to a call - didn't want to wake her up or anything. The "back 2sleep" is what leads me to worry about that.

But the pause between the two, with the second one, implies that perhaps I was supposed to respond or something? I have no idea...
