GALVESTON REDUX

Man. I'm tired. I'm also covered in bite marks.

See, Saturday night, I was supposed to go to Jarrod's to play d&d. I totally forgot - he told me Friday night, as I went to go see Kill Bill: vol. 1 (by myself, naturally) - he was the ticket-taking guy; I handed him my ticket, he says, "First theater on your right, we're playing tomorrow night; enjoy your show." LIke I said, had a work meeting Saturday morning, then work at 5. Got off at 10 or so. Totally forgot about d&d. So I came home, chilled, talked to Suzy (who might spell it Suzie - we're looking into that one), and Jarrod calls - "Dude, where are you?" "Huh?" "We're supposed to be playing tonight...." "Oh yeah.... I'll be there in a bit". So I drove over to his house, and he was still getting ready. I talked to Suzy some more, and we realized I had to go back to my house to get the Combat Matrix. She starts with "You should come to Galveston." I couldn't - d&d with Jarrod that night (although that was almost not a valid reason - Jarrod and I have a thing about ditching the other for girls - we encourage it - but Michael and Dana were there too, didn't want to do that to them as well), had to work Sunday, wouldn't know what to tell Mom. But we talked for a while (much to the annoyance of Jarrod, who, by that time, was ready to play - sorry Jarrod!!). We finally got down for some d&d... I made it home around 7, fell asleep.

Sunday, I woke up and went to see Transposing Shakespeare with Rose. It was a great play. Got home, had to go basically straight to work. While I was there, I realized I could go see her after work - off 'til Wednesday. So I waited, but she never called... tear. Got off work, went home... she finally called around 2 or 2:30. I told her that I wanted to come see her - she was in full agreement, so we decided I'd leave around 5 or so; she was going to go to sleep and call me when she woke up. I hung out - played some MvC 2, DDR MAX 2, other stuff; left at 5:30 or so. Got there without any real incident, but I did have some trouble on I45 between Houston and Galveston (just like last time). She hadn't called yet, so I went to the Wal-Mart and hung out in the parking lot. I called her around 11, and went over. She was at Ms Anne's house. I went over there, but there was some confusion about whether or not I could go in. So we sat on the stairs outside. She was feeling kind of sick - although it might have just been anxiety over everything that was about to happen (moving to San Marcos, etc). So we're talking, and it kind of devolved into... tickling. It was a lot of fun. And when I'd have both of her hands pinned, she'd bite me.

Eventually I was granted clearence to enter, and we slept together (actual sleeping, not sex or anything) in the living room for a while. It was the second best sleep I've had in like two or three years... (the first being last Saturday). Actually, I'm not sure which was better... but they were both awesome. Anyhoo, I had to run Jonathon, Chris, and Darcie (Chris's gf) over to Jonathon's house; did that, then came back. More tickling and biting ensued. Altogether, there was a great deal of that. Ms Anne eventually cae home, and we're pretty cool. I've got bite marks up and down my arms; there's some bruises on my right arm, and a major hickey on my neck. At one point, while we were on the stairs, she was biting my neck, and had me in kind of a vampiric embrace - very sexy. We talked, too - about what we'd do when she got here, what we'd been up to, that kind of thing. The best quote from the evening? Ms Anne (while we're making dinner): "You know, if you marry her, you'll have to do the cooking."

So, yeah, it was a lot of fun. And it took me almost 12 hours to get home. But that's another story. She's in town now, but I don't know when I'll hear from her - it's like 3 or 4 weeks 'til she can qualify for a weekend pass. Argh.
