Watch me as I walk in slowly

So, life is pretty good right now. I mean, not great, nothing fantastic, but good. Content. That kind of thing. Work's going okay, finally started to ease off the paycheck-to-paycheck thing, which I really hate. About to file my taxes, and I'll be able to pay back Mom the money I've owed her for a bit, which I really hate. Oh! Mindy - yes, that Mindy - works with us now. Not as in, an overnight stocker, but as in, a GROCERY overnight stocker. Which means I'm working side-by-side with her. Every (most) night(s). Having breaks together, lunch, end-of-day crap, the whole nine yards. It's... well, good, I guess. She's definitely a friendly face, and I can always use more of those. We've mainly been talking about what we've both been up to the last few years. She's still really cute, too - looks the same, just all grown up. What's annoying about it, though, is that the guys at work - mainly Zack and Nolan - are totally misconstruing the entire situation. First off, they have her confused with Lilie. When I started working there, I was still fawning over her, still hopelessly in love with her. And, of course, I talked about it. Second, they seem to be of the mindset - and I ran into this when I was talking to Rose on the phone one day during break - that if a boy and a girl are talking to each other, smiling, laughing, generally genuinely enjoying each other's company, then obviously, one is trying to have sex with the other. So that's annoying. I mean, most of the things that made us a good couple are still there, the way our personalities mesh, so we get along really well. And yes, I'll admit that I do still find her attractive. However, I have no desire to rekindle anything with her. It's nice, though, having a friend up there. Aside from Matt.

Just got my head shaved; haven't had it cut since I started working at Wal-Mart. I know Mindy's used to it, and I think Matt's probably seen me with my head shaved before, but nobody else has. That'll be fun.

Chelsea's running again. I mean, not sporadically or anything, but running well. We had Don Reilly take a look at her, the guy is awesome. Fixed the door too, while he was at it, just for the hell of it. But yeah, she starts great. Don't have to barely turn the key past accessory mode to ignite, and there's no hesitation. Doesn't idle rough anymore, at all. Overall, excellent work. I mean, I know she's not going to run forever, but this definitely gave her a huge boost.

I can be crazy, but I try not to

So I have all those things I want to post about, but I'm not starting those updates now. I'm, in fact, at Kyle's apartment in Irving. David's asleep in the bedroom, Will's passed out on the couch, and Kyle, Andy, and myself are playing WoW. I think some of them are getting close to going to sleep, but I just woke up, so I'll be on for a while. We started running instances, and it was really fun. Pictures later.
